Reba Tierney, Library Teacher
Mrs. Tierney is excited to have joined the Waltham High School family. Reba has over 15 years of experience as a high school librarian, having previously worked in Boston and Quincy. She is active in ALA, YALSA, and MSLA. Reba is an avid lover of animals, nature, random trivia, and of course, reading. When she is not working, you can find Reba reading, traveling, hanging out with her husband and family, or spending as much time as possible on the beach or near the ocean.

Joyce Guelli, Circulation
Hello, my name is Joyce Guelli and I have been working in the WHS Library for over 20 years. A lot of things have changed since I started, but some things will never change, like the pleasure I get from daily interaction with students and staff. The WHS Library is a bustling place to be and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

Jeanne McDonald, Circulation
Hi, my name is Jeanne!  I have three children: Zachary 18, Andrew 16 and Matthew who is 10. I have worked in the library for 3 years as an aide on Fridays only, but this year I am working Monday-Wednesday.  If I’m not working the High School Library you may find me at Fitzgerald Elementary School as a substitute teacher or a volunteer library helper.  My main focus in the library is to help “you” with whatever you need such as checking books in or out of the library or any computer issues you may have.  But, when I am not helping you you may find me assisting with various projects.   I also work on a variety of library reports, such as overdue books… so return or renew your books to avoid getting a friendly reminder notice from me.  Stop by and see me if you need anything!
